Message driving a BMW 330i convertible, it seemed to prevent back-buffeting fairly well, but was a bit of a pain to set up and deploy. Dunno if it would really work for our 2+0 configuration, as it is meant to anchor and fold over a back seat, as illustrated in your picture.

I just flip up the plastic windblocker in the stock tonneau cover if I'm travelling at highway speed. Still get a fair amount of wind buffeting, but, hey, it's a 'vert :)
